Start to Finish - Introduction

HOLA HOLA Batho Kaofela!

I hope you are all Ever-Rising and Pushing Higher and Higher!

It's Time For a New Series and this one is called, "Start To Finish"

Oh Yes! You will be amazed at how many people today suffer from 'the in-between'. What am I on about?
Well, for those who go past the first hurdle of actually starting something (an idea put in practice), it seems to be the hardest thing in the world to bring it to completion!!!

I know this ever so well as I am a culprit as many of you reading this are... right? We have great ideas and things, we get excited, tell someone about it and if the idea is lucky enough, we'll get started with it, but somewhere along the way, we lose momentum and just never finish.

If you will join me on this New Journey from Start to Finish, we will be exploring some of the key stumbling blocks that we encounter when we have something potentially great, suffering from our lack of sustained, VOOM VOOM!

I hope this series will help us change the way we do things and also put us on course to becoming more enterprising with ourselves and each other, particularly when it comes to business and entrepreneurship.

However before we get to all that, we need to start the assessment in front of the mirror!

Please feel free to engage with me here and let's participate together in this discussion in order for us to learn from one another and develop a stronger force of action for the future.

Built To Build 12

Hello Guys! The way things can change!

I hope you are all doing very well!

Let’s take Rose’s story to its conclusion today and get to know what has been bugging her so much.

Rose, “So I was confident when I came back because I knew so many pastors who were so supportive in me doing my missionary training which I paid for with my package from my last company. I called each of them asking for a meeting which was gladly accepted because they wanted to know how everything went.”

Gabriel, “I see”

Rose, “All you’re seeing is the road right now. I don’t know what you are on about.
Anyway, as I get to the part of needing a sponsor, their facial expressions changed in an incredible way. You could literally feel them pull away from the conversation and tell me that they are very happy for me but in terms of finances, it’s just a struggle all-round. Others said that they couldn’t help me because it was not in the budget of the Church and it’s not possible.”

Gabriel, “Well, aren’t they just like family members and friends who do that? Times are pretty tough for a lot of people akere?”

Rose, “That is not the point you see. What you just said makes sense and it’s exactly what I had been thinking with every meeting. My issue was that they didn’t seem to show me any desire to help me outside of their financial woes. Several the church members in some of the pastors’ congregations are businessmen and businesswomen to whom I would have thought they might speak to on my behalf and stuff like that. I felt that they were just so unwilling Gabriel. Do you understand what I’m on about? It’s not that I am complaining or wining about it. I know that I will have to make a plan. It just baffles me how people will be behind you until it actually costs them something.”

Gabriel, “Hmmm, you make an interesting observation Rose. I guess at the end of the day, there comes a time when you realise that regardless of your support system, it’s going to be just God and you at some point.”

Ready?

All Relationships have a cost to them and the weight of that cost can be a huge determining factor to how worth it, it is. Often a big part of that cost is sacrifice. Jehovah gave His ALL to have a Relationship with you and me. How much value to we give back to Him?

Built To Build 11

Greetings My Beloved! Wow, it’s been a while.

Tracking my history with my previous blog, it’s clear Jehovah has had to be quite patient with me and I would hope that you have been the same as well.
I won’t make too many promises this time around, I will just prove myself!

As I go back on the Series from just over two years ago, it seems I have left it incomplete. I plan to continue with the series immediately. I’m so sorry for leaving it like that, but I am back now!
Let’s look at my acquaintance-turned-friend Rose again and conclude her story.

Have a look at my post on Tuesday the 5th of May 2015, where we started her story. She had tried to hide behind a smile and a simple description of how things had gone, down South for her Missionary Training.

Gabriel, “What’s up Rose?”

Rose, “You know, a great part of the things that I learnt there was truly frustrating. I grew up from a very strict home with Christian principles embedded in us as far as I can remember. All these years I’ve been trying to work out this whole thing of being called and you know all this prophecies that you hear when you go to conferences and prayer meetings.”

As I kept my eyes on the road, I simply nodded and remarked, “Yeah, I hear you.”

Rose, “Now I get there and the one thing I wanted to know is what I’ve been called to do. Since He sent me all the way to the Eastern Cape to do this training, you would think that being a missionary is what I need to do now right?”

Gabriel, “Right.”

Rose, “In order to succeed in this venture, I would need to get sponsorship because we don’t have salaries there and therefore would have to ask anyone who is willing to support me financially every month to do that so that I can do what I’ve been trained to do.”

Gabriel, “Fair enough.”

Rose, “I prayed and asked The Lord for help with this matter and took the step of faith to make the calls. Gabriel! You won’t believe the things that I heard!”

To Be Continued…

Ready?

The Bible says that my ways are not your ways and my thoughts are not your thoughts. This can either be re-assuring or very frustrating depending on how you see things. So how do we see it in order to let that secure us, rather than irritate us?

Rose goes deeper with us and explains something that we all experience at some point in our lives.

Children of The Most High God!!!

Greetings from Pretoria, South Africa!

I do hope you have all been doing ever so well in my absence here on the blog. As you can imagine, it has been a very busy first and second quarter of the year and this 2016th edition of it seems to be flying through. We do bless The Lord however that Jehovah Loves us enough to remind us of His Purpose in our lives even in our busyness and it is that stern reminder that has brought me back to a very important part of His Plan for my life; ministering on this blog.

So often we allow the relentless pursuit of economic freedom and success to steadily shift us from what The Lord wants us to do. I know this has been the case for me and I have learned a great deal regarding this. I do apologize to you as well my beloved reader.

In business, we can come across an incredible amount of choices and options that we can take, to change the weight of our pockets and the amount if zero's that show in our bank account balances. The way that it happens is that naturally we are drawn to the option that can do this for us quicker and more abundantly.

Often times frustration walks along side of us because we also find that many of the things we do can fail, not perform as promised and even set us back further than where we had started. Despondency, lack of peace, sadness, anger etc start kicking in and that just shuts us down further and further away from The Lord's Purpose.

I want to just encourage you by saying that The Almighty knows what we need and want and truly NEVER leaves nor forsakes us. This means that right now, in the middle of all of that, you can stop, look up to Heaven and pray. Believe it or not, He can even show us what to do at that moment to maximise our current position! The problem is that we walk this road alone, pushing as hard as we can, yet we can't see the ditch we are heading into; He can.

Let's remember that He is The One Who knows the Plans that He Has For Us, Plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us a hope and a future. Let's go back to trusting His Voice and His Word.
