The Pursuit Of Purpose 11.3

Hola daarso! A very good day to you sir or madam!

I pray that you are having a good day so far. On my side, it’s hot one part of the day and raining the next. It reminds me of Cape Town…ha!

Now, on the past two posts we had observed the two stories pertaining to Themba and Patience. We saw two levels of intensity to finding something/someone that was lost.

Since we are inevitably going to try a compare a thing to a person, let me bring to light the illustration that The Great JC (Jesus Christ) gave in Luke 15.

He was explaining what we have been talking about here. Between verse 4  and 7 we read,
  • What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? 5And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. 7I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance."
  • Then he speaks of the same value placed upon a thing as well by the woman in verses 8 and 9, 8Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? 9And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost."
We see here that whether it’s a person or thing, the value we attach to him/her or it is what will propel us to hang on to them or not. Therefore I submit that our friend Themba did not place as much value on the key ring as Patience did on her son.
When it comes to fulfilling our Desire, we NEED to place the highest value on it and use this to make us unstoppable in getting it done. Once we have settled within ourselves that we aren’t going to allow ANYTHING or ANYONE to stand in our way, then we can move on to the next part.
Here it is...
It’s a decision and not a feeling to allow NOTHING and/or NO ONE to halt us from fulfilling our Desire in sorting out our Frustrations as we continue our journey to finding our God given purpose. The time has come to raise warriors for The Kingdom who will keep head-strong about DOING the Will of God.
